Age 88, of Greentree, peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Keefe; loving mother of David (Robin) Keefe, Deborah (the late Dan) Weimerskirch, Adam Keefe, the late Michael and Eddie Keefe; grandmother of Alecia, Brian, Randy, Eric (Bridgette), Michael (Kristen) and Danielle; great-grandmother of Joseph, Michael, Emily, Vincenzo, Rosie, Giovanni, Abigail, Taylor and Brooklyn; sister of Annette “Bella” Chappell and the late Rose Plocido, Louis Benigni, Reno Benigni, and Frank Benigni; daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Bolla) Benigni; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean retired from the workforce to start a family and then raise her five children (a fulltime job itself.) Jean enjoyed spending her free time reading novels, doing word searches and crossword puzzles, watching her soap operas and game shows and listening to the music of Neil Diamond and Elvis Pressley. Jean’s hobbies included many years of bowling alongside her husband Edward where they met many of their lifelong friends. Jean was also an avid baker, spending the month of December each year making her delicious Christmas cookies which will be missed by all. She also enjoyed spending her summer weekends and vacations at the family cottage in Geneva-On-The-Lake, Ohio. Jean’s family would also like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Clair Hospital, Carnegie Park Post Acute and Bethany Hospice who helped to care for and comfort Jean the last 4 plus months of her life.
